Moseley is a hive of activity with local events, independent retailers and rich in Tolkien history.
The Botanical Gardens and the Nature Centre, round the corner in Edgbaston,
Venture into Britain’s second city for a day of retail therapy. Choose from the Mailbox which houses Harvey Nichols, the infamous Selfridges building (for all your designer delights), or take a walk down the central streets to see what gems you can unearth on the high street. Art Galleries more your thing?
Visit Ikon Gallery for contemporary artists, the Birmingham Museum and Art galleries for all the Masters, or the Barber Institute, who also do lunchtime concerts.
Then there's the Electric Cinema by New Street Station; what a treat. This recently refurbished cinema is oldest functioning cinema in Europe, and is our favourite place to watch a film.
And all these within a 10 minute drive from our lovely front doorstep. So get yourself entertained!
Finally the Farmers Market, who set up camp in Moseley the 4th Saturday of every month. Selling everything from hand made jewellery to rosemary and chilli sausages! AND…it was recently voted the best farmers market in the region!
